The FIA Battery Master Kill Switch has been designed to eliminate the possibility of engine run-on providing a vital safety factor in competition use. It also prevents the alternator circuit being damaged due to a heavy voltage surge, that can occur with the use of a heavy duty single circuit on/off switch. The removeable key makes it a useful antitheft device in open cars such as Clubmans.
